A/C is on the way...

Today was quite busy. A sales rep came this morning and we signed on to have air conditioning installed. I think we'll need it. The temperature is going up to 31 C tomorrow! And it's not even June yet...

This afternoon, we were at the vascular lab for a check-up. Tony (aka Richard) had a blod clot in his left shoulder/arm last May and had been getting his chemo infusion in his right arm only (which has been getting more difficult with time). Well, he got the all clear today, so it might make tomorrow's treatment (or at least the hook up) a bit easier.

Tony's nurse was away today, so I spoke to another nurse regarding his abdominal pain. We are waiting for a nutritionist to call us back with "do's & don't's". I guess we can talk to her in person tomorrow as we will be there for Tony's treatment.

After I picked up the boys this afternoon, I quickly BBQ'd some burgers and Richard and I were off for his football try-outs. I was back just in time for the last half of the American Idol final. Tony was glad I was back because he had been for a walk and couldn't wait to go to bed and didn't want to bed before Mathieu was back from the park. (My in-laws were "kidnapped" by my neighbours done the road; who had them in for a cup of tea.)

Tony actually said he felt like he did have a bit more energy today... Unfortunately, tomorrow is chemo day already. So, here we go again.

Keep your fingers crossed for an easy treatment with few after effects...

That's it for now.

Take good care!

Renée
